I TAKE THE DICE - PART TWENTY THREE

She found his eyes and began to cry his name. As he heard his name on her lips, he came hard and fast inside of her, filling her up with his own precious juices.
She collapsed into his arms, shaking and trembling from her own massive orgasm.
“I don’t want to live without you again Téa…” he whispered, still deeply aroused from their passionate lovemaking. As soon as her body was responsive again, he made love to her again.

The following morning,
Llanfair…

Todd drove into the driveway of Llanfair, with a rare smile on his face, thinking of the previous night’s events at Viki’s cabin. He had always enjoyed taking Téa to the cabin. The cabin possessed almost mystical properties. At the cabin he always felt comfortable to be alone with his wife. It seemed whenever they were at the cabin, they connected…re-affirmed their bond with each other. The cabin had a way of making them stronger.

And last night…was incredible. After their emotional talk about the recent events something seemed to possess him. He was incredibly moved by her vulnerability and a powerful urge to take her had overwhelmed him. They hadn’t much sleep last night as they made love frequently. He still couldn’t believe how powerful, how full he was for her. How much he wanted her. Desired her. He realized that her vulnerability had made her incredibly attractive from head to toe. It was an awesome feeling.

Suddenly he felt overwhelmed by his feelings and his smile faded. Love junk. Love junk always made him nervous. He knew he had feelings and he knew he couldn’t suppress them – especially when it came to Téa. But sometimes he was afraid if he loved her ”too much” felt ”too much” for her – it would be ”too much” for him and he would lose it – lose her. God, he didn’t want to think about losing her. If he did, it might come true again and he didn’t want that. As it was her kidnapping two years ago still haunted him.

He parked the car and glanced at her. She smiled at him.

“What were you thinking of right now?” she asked softly.

He gave her a light chuckle, “You. Love junk. Losing you.”

“Oh. Sounds deep,” she said.

“I don’t want to lose you ‘cos of this murder rap,” he said.

“Even if I have a jury trial Todd, I’m innocent. I will prove my innocence in a court if I have too,” she said firmly.

Against his better judgment and rather impulsively, he leaned over and kissed her lips. It was soft and tender and he allowed his face to linger next to hers.

“I like it when you do that,” she whispered.

He said nothing and tore himself away from her. They got out of the car and went inside.

As they walked into the kitchen they saw Viki and Jessie holding a twin and feeding them each a bottle. Trevor sat at the table and smiled at his parents as they walked in.

“Mommy! Daddy!” he exclaimed. He got up and ran to his parents giving them each a hug and kiss. They returned his affection and Todd picked him up in his arms. “Oh Sweetie, we missed you too. We are so sorry but your Daddy and I needed some alone time,” said Téa softly as she lightly ran her fingers through his hair.

Trevor said nothing but Téa could tell from his facial expression he was pouting.

“What’s wrong T.D., huh?” she asked wanting to deal with his mood.

“You and Daddy have too much alone time,” admitted Trevor.

Téa looked at Todd who was just as taken back as her from hearing their son’s remark. Viki and Jessie looked just as surprised.

“Look, T.D.,” said Todd, “Your mother and I well, honestly there’s things that only me and your mom can deal with…and we have to have alone time to do it.”

“We still love you T.D. Very much but…and you have to understand – your daddy loves me very much and I love him and sometimes we need it to be just us. You don’t have to feel bad that I spend time with your daddy,” said Téa trying to further explain it. She gave T.D. a gentle kiss on his cheek and he appeared satisfied with the explanation.

“How are you the twins?” asked Todd.

“Angels…” gushed Jessie as she held Taylor tight, feeding her a bottle.

“You just missed Tina,” said Viki.

“Awww…” said Téa, “Is she…busy?”

“I didn’t get a chance to tell you but Tina has a plan,” said Todd turning to face her.

“Really?” questioned Téa.

Jessie turned to Todd, “So what did you talk about while you were alone Uncle Todd?”

“Funny Jessie,” said Todd.

Jessie grinned at Viki who laughed. Téa blushed. After Todd’s moving speech of forgiveness, they didn’t really talk about much. Their love making the previous night had been incredibly powerful and had latest practically all night. And she had enjoyed it – a lot.

“Oh, what was Tina’s plan?” asked Téa sheepishly asking as she avoided everyone’s eyes.

Todd could tell she was embarrassed, “Something about a video surveillance tape…” he answered.

Suddenly Téa’s face lit up, “Now why didn’t I think about that? My building uses video surveillance tapes! I need to call Sam!” She pulled out her cell phone and dialed Sam’s phone number. Todd was touched by his son’s request. He looked into the boy’s eyes and realized just how much Trevor had missed them.

“Yeah. Your mom and I, we’ll do all kinds of stuff with you today. It’ll just be me, you, and her, okay?” said Todd.

Trevor’s face lit up, “Yay!!”

Téa hung up and looked at Todd, “You guys get started without me okay? I’ll meet up with you in the park.”

Both Todd and Trevor looked very disappointed.

“Why Téa?” asked Todd.

“Sam’s at the diner. I need to meet with him. He’s got some papers he has to review with me and we need to discuss obtaining that videotape – legally,” said Téa playing with her hair.

“The diner? Is that a good place to meet? You know…with…those guys? Can’t you meet at your office?” he asked.

“No, it’s a protected crime scene,” said Téa, “And Sam’s at the diner right now. Look, I’ll be all right. Nothing will happen.”

Todd narrowed his eyes. Something always happens when you don’t want it too.

“Don’t go. Come to the park with T.D. and me,” said Todd.

“Look, I have to see Sam. You know how important it is. I will quickly conclude our business and meet you guys in the park okay?” she said.

T.D. looked sad. Téa walked up to her boys and leaned her head against Trevor and part of Todd’s arms.

“I’ll be okay,” she said softly.

Todd let out a deep breath. He realized how important it was for her to deal with her problem.

“You go do what you gotta’ do. I’ll take T.D. to the park and we’ll meet you there,” said Todd.

She looked up into his eyes, “Thank you…” she whispered. She gave Trevor a light kiss on the cheek and she gave Todd a tender kiss on his lips. She gave each of the twins a smile and they returned her heartfelt expression. Without another word, she left.

Later that morning,
Carlotta’s Diner…

Sam sat down in a booth reviewing paperwork. Téa walked in and sat down across from him. The diner didn’t have many customers. Carlotta came over and poured Téa cup of coffee. Joey sat in a corner reviewing negatives. Téa and Joey smiled and waved at each other.

“So Téa,” said Sam, “What’s this about a videotape?”

“We need to find out if the building’s security camera caught who came in the building or better yet – if they caught the incident…” said Téa excited about the idea.

Sam instantly grinned, “Téa! That’s a great idea!!”

Téa smiled.

He handed her a bunch of paper, “Here. Review these and as soon as you do, we’ll go to the building’s security offices.”

Téa chuckled and looked at the papers Sam handed her.

Suddenly two men, dressed in fancy black suits, boldly walked into the diner. Téa and Sam took one look at them and their faces dropped. One man grabbed Téa by the collar of her shirt and pulled her out of the booth. She was terrified. Sam got up to protect her but the second guy smacked his face with the butt of his handgun. Sam fell to the ground as blood trickled out of the side of his mouth.

“Té-ugh!” he cried. His voice was weak and he immediately thought that his jaw might be broken.

Téa was held tightly in the other man’s grasp and he spit in her ear.

“You will pay for killing our cousin. He trusted you. He thought highly of you…!”

A rush of adrenaline flooded her body fueled by her incredible panic and fear.

“I did not kill him!!” she exclaimed.

“You are accused of his murder slut!!” yelled the second guy hovering over Sam.

And while the two men were preoccupied with Téa and Sam, Joey stealthily made his way to the door and by the time the men realized Joey was there, he rushed out of the diner and ran hard and fast to notify the police.
