OLTL SATIRE-PART SIX

An OLTL Satire – Part VI – "Suck it up – it's therapy for Botrina and Max!"
This is a work of fiction. This is meant to be satirical in nature.

WHAT HAPPENS:
1. Botrina and Nora's catfight scenes win SOD's editor choice award.
2. Botrina…and Kevin sign copies of OLTL's 30th Anniversary book at a local B&N.
2. Flo got scoop
3. SS and LK get back at JFP for their storyline
4. JdP is mad 'cos he can't get Max out of therapy.

Dim and was pouting. Dim had tried everything but couldn't get out of it.
Dim and Tim were at local B&N to sign copies of OLTL's 30th anniversary book. And she wasn't even in it. But JFP insisted. The store wasn't open yet but would be soon. The line outside the store was long.
"Ready Dim?" asked Dim.
Dim smirked, "Are you?"
Tim leered at Dim, "You know, JFP thinks we look good together. That's why we do al this press together."
"Look, I fail to understand. That's just not good enough. I mean, our characters have no story together," said Dim.
"Time to sign!" came a voice. Dim and Tim sat down and began signing autographs. Tim's line was thin. That didn't surprise Dim. What surprised Dim was her line was pretty long. There was even a group of fans that called themselves The Botrina Tran Power Suit Army.
Dim went back to the studio after signing autographs. She walked into her dressing room only to Sonia Satra and Laura Kaufman there.
"Dim, we need your help," said LK.
"What's up?" asked Dim.
"We've heard you've got a few tricks up your sleeve," said SS.
"I might," said Dim.
"Look, I'm sick of Cassie acting like a wallflower," said LK.
"And I'm sick of kissing Kevin all the time," said SS.
"What can I do?" asked Dim.
"What are the two things JFP can't do without?" asked LK.
"Her cigarettes and her Another World bible," said Dim.
"Hehehehe…" giggled SS and LK.
"Sonia! Give me those cigarettes back!" demanded JFP.
Dim kept her hands on JFP's shoulders, ensuring JFP didn't get out of her chair.
Sonia nodded her head no. Dim giggled.
"Laura, C'Mon. I need my notebook. It's got all my idea in it!" said JFP fidgeting in her chair.
LK held up a notebook. It was worn and said Another World on it.
"Not until Cassie wises up. Cassie is not this dumb!" said LK.
"And Barbara needs to wise up too," said SS, "No girl in her right mind would stoop this low. BeeBee has a self-esteem problem I want fixed!"
"So has Cassie!" said LK.
They walked around JFP's desk teasing JFP with her carton of cigarettes and Another World notebook. Dim held JFP firmly in her chair.
"All right. All right. I'll fix it," said JFP, "But I need a ciggie to stimulate my… thinking processes."
Sonia lit a ciggie and let JFP drag on it. Then she took it away.
"O.k. Sonia – I'm gonna put you in a lotta scenes with JB. After all, he's the man BeeBee's always wanted…"
"I'll deal with it. I just don't want to kiss Kevin anymore," said SS.
"And Laura… you and Kevin will make up…" said JFP.
LK frowned, "Look, why would Cassie take Kevin back? Here's the plan… Kevin 's gonna suck up big time to Cassie and just when he thinks she's going take him back… Wham! She dumps him. For Andrew."
"O.k., O.k., anything…" said JFP. SS gave JFP her ciggies back and LK gave JFP her book back and left. Dim let JFP get up.
"Dim, I've been good to you. How could you do this?" asked JFP.
"Well, they paid me more," said Dim smiling.
"I get no respect!" muttered JFP. Just then JdP walked in.
"I'm glad you're here Dim. I will not do this. No therapy! I've a club to run…" said JdP strutting around JFP's office.
"What did I do to deserve this?" muttered JFP, "You gonna take my cigarettes too?"
"What?" muttered JdP.
"Look. Suck it up – it's therapy for Botrina and Max. Final. Fini," said JFP.
Just then PL walked in, "Mail call!"
"Give it to me straight, Pam," said JFP.
"Ratings went up by a point. TnT are hot. We got 3 fan letters saying they like Kevin…"
"Only 3?" asked JFP.
"People like Sam and Blair, Bo and Nora, Botrina and Max…" started PL.
JdP cut off PL, "The fans like Botrina and Max? What about Max and Blair?"
Nobody paid him any attention. PL continued, "…and SOD named Botrina and Nora's catfights this week's editor choice…"
"All this positive stuff and I still get no respect!!" exclaimed JFP, "I'm putting my foot down."
PL continued, "…And we've got the usual letters from Violet, Island Girl, Ingrid, Jackie, RB…"
"I know. I know. Botrina is fresh, funny and should be best newcomer," said JFP.
JdP pouted, "So, does this Dim and I are going to therapy? What about my club?"
"YES – you are going to therapy. RJ can run the damn club!" said JFP, "NO one will ever take my ciggies again!"
"Calm down Jill," said PL.
Dim walked into her dressing room. Flo was all ready there.
"I heard you, Sonia, and Laura took JFP's ciggies and Another World notebook…" said Flo.
"JFP got mad too. Max and Botrina were only going to be in therapy for two weeks and my participation in this little stunt bought Botrina and Max another two weeks of therapy and JdP is mad at me now," said Dim sitting down and chugging some H20.
"We'll talk to Kassie. That'll calm him down," suggested Flo.
"Say, whatever happened to that blindfold?" asked Dim.
"Nothing," said Flo.
"Got scoop?" asked Dim.
"Yeah. PL did away with the S&M therapy. Now we've got real therapy," said Flo smiling.
"Well, that's good, huh?" asked Dim.
"Yeah, but there are obstacles," started Flo.
"Such as?" asked Dim.
"They want to go back to this thing where Roseanne comes onto Todd…" started Flo.
"Nah. They wouldn't do that again – would they?" asked Dim.
"And Sykes is ogling Téa – again…" started Flo.
"AGAIN?" asked Dim.
"You think they would try something new," said Flo shaking her head.
"Well, you got any ideas. I might be able to get JFP to listen to them…" said Dim giggling.
"Got a year?" asked Flo.
