OLTL SATIRE-PART FIVE

An OLTL Satire – Part V – "Nudgie! Do something about this Music!"
This is a work of fiction. This is meant to be satirical in nature.

WHAT HAPPENS:
1. Botrina and Max get therapy.
2. Dim and Bob booby trap the set.
3. Flo got scoop
4. Why Botrina and Nora don't get along.

Dim and Flo were in their dressing chugging H20.
"Hey Dim, got any pics of you when you were in the Army?" asked Flo.
Dim whipped out a small wallet pic of her in dress blues.
"Not bad," said Bob Woods sticking his head in their dressing room door, "I had an idea of playing a practical joke on JFP. I was going to booby trap the set so everytime JFP came down to watch us tape scenes Twilight Zone music would play. Can you help me out?"
"Sure," said Dim.
"You're a daughter after my own heart," said Bob Woods.
Dim and Bob giggled as they left. Flo cussed in Spanish at her script.
Dim was in one of Botrina's power suits blocking scenes with HBS. They were in Botrina's high powered office at Asa's oil company…
"How do you know Nadine…" said HBS.
Botrina put her hands on her hips and pouted, "Nadine was my mother!" said Botrina.
Nora crossed her arms, "Ah… didn't you say your mother was a Vietnam girl…?"
"I lied," said Botrina. Botrina and Nora began to circle each other.
"So, you mean to tell me that while my half sister, Nadine, was a nurse in Vietnam – her and Bo-!" said Nora.
"Uh, huh." said Dim sneering.
"My half sister wouldn't have spawned something so lowly," said Nora smugly.
"I'll give you lowly!" said Dim making a fist.
Just then Bob Woods bust in, "Can't we all just get along?" He stepped between the two. Dim sneered. HBS grunted.
All of sudden Twilight Zone music began playing. Bob, HBS, and Dim turned around to see JFP watching them and clapping her hands.
"The fans are gonna love this…" muttered JFP, "Nudgie!! Do something about this music!!"
Bob, Dim, and HBS just shook their heads.
Dim and Jim de Paiva walked into JFP office. PL was there.
"What's up?" asked Jim.
"Script revision," said PL giving Dim and Jim a new script, "We're going with this on Thursday."
Jim and Dim went through their scripts. They looked at each other and then at JFP and PL.
"Botrina and Max are going to therapy?" asked JdP.
"And it's the same S&M therapist TnT are going too?" exclaimed Dim.
"Well, since TnT's S&M therapy sessions, ratings are up so we figured we can 't enough of a good thing so we're going to go with this," said JFP.
JdP was aghast.
"But…but…but… I thought you didn't consider Botrina and Max a couple. That' s why I had to do press with Tim!" stammered Dim.
"But you got out of that," said JFP frowning, "Besides we went through the snail mail and 51% of viewers want Botrina and Max. You two are hot. But not as hot as Kevin and BeeBee. But you could be…" said JFP.
"What snail mail?" asked JdP.
PL held up a stack.
"We got the usual letter from Violet, Jackie, Island Girl, plus new letters from RB and Ingrid…"
"Ah," said JdP speaking up, "I think I need to remind you guys I've got friends in high places…"
"And?" said JFP.
Dim walked into the dressing room disgusted. Flo was there shredding her script.
"What are you doing?" asked Dim.
"JFP wanted all this therapy stuff to be a dream Todd had…" started Flo.
"You're kidding me…" said Dim.
"So Rog and I are shredding our scripts in protest…" finished Flo.
"And I just wanted to know how you guys got out of the viagra thing," said Dim.
"Téa slipped the stuff to Roseanne who gave it to Will but Christian really took it…" said Flo.v Just then Rog walked in, "Flo, good news. I got us new scripts!"
Rog gave Flo her new script and Flo looked through it.
"Got scoop?" asked Dim.
"How did you talk JFP out of the dream stuff?" asked Flo.
"I just reminded her ratings were up and the reason why ratings were up so she's giving us more therapy scenes," said Rog.
"Rog, I don't know if I can do anymore of these therapy scenes," said Flo.
"Flo, I'm with you but it would be such a disappointment to the fans if it occurred and it was just a dream of Todd's," said Rog. Flo nodded her head in agreement.
"You're right," said Flo, "The therapist gives Téa a blindfold to use on Todd.."
Rog nodded his head in disgust, "I know… I know… Look, we'll get out of it. We always do."
"So how long you think you guys will be in therapy?" asked Dim.
"Got a year?" asked Flo.
