OLTL SATIRE-PART TWO

An OLTL Satire – Part II – "What's Up with this Cabana Anyway?"

WHAT HAPPENS:
1. Botrina gets a love interest
2. Botrina meets every Buchanan but Bo
3. Flo's got scoop
Dim got up the next morning and checked the MD discussion board. Dim had all the encouragement needed. Dim went to the studio and settled into Dim's new dressing room. A guy came by with a script. Flo walked in while Dim was reading her script.
"Ewewewewewwww…" muttered Dim.
"You know, I said the same thing when they gave me that script with the AnT scene in it. Who do you have to sleep with?" asked Flo.
"I can't believe it. I've only been on the show a day and they've got me in bed with Kevin! At the cabana!" exclaimed Dim.
"Ewewewewewwww…" muttered Flo.
"Isn't that incest?" muttered Dim, "I just gotta get out of this one."
"Good, Kevin's JFP's golden boy," said Flo.
"Actually, I might have the upper hand. JFP think I'm from Another World so I'll probably get my way," said Dim walking out of the dressing room.
"Good luck," said Flo.
Dim walked into JFP's office. PL was there.
"Problem Dim?" asked JFP.
"Jill, I gotta lot of respect for you but Botrina and Kevin? In the cabana?" said Dim, "It's just not going to work."
"Of course it will. Kevin's a stud," said JFP.
"But Jill – it's incest. Botrina is Bo's daughter. Kevin is Clint's son…" started Dim.
"Well, technically…" started PL but Dim gave her an "I'll-kill-you" look and PL shut up.
"Oh, can't have that," said Jill, "Pam, get Joey, Drew, Christian, Will, Max, Sam, Todd, Asa, and Mel in here."
"What are you doing Jill?" asked PL all lost.
"You'll see," muttered Jill.
Dim walked into her dressing room. Flo was still there and so was Kassie.
"You won't believe what just happened," said Dim in disgust.
"Ah, we might believe it," said Kassie.
"JFP had Joey, Drew, Christian, Will, Sam, Max, Todd, Asa, and Mel in her office and I had to kiss all of them!" exclaimed Dim.
"Why?" asked Flo.
"To find out who I had the most 'chemistry' with," finished Dim.
"But I'm with Sam," said Kassie.
"And I'm with Todd," said Flo.
"And Mel's married!" said Kassie.
"Who's the lucky guy?" asked Flo.
"Well, JFP thought Asa was good so I had to use the incest thing again and I've got this make out scene in the cabana… with Max!" said Dim.
Kassie raised an eyebrow.
Flo giggled.
"And what's up with this cabana anyway?" asked Dim.
"Well, it's the hottest thing since you know – Todd and Téa…" said Flo.
"At least you got the cabana! I was stuck in a wine cellar," said Kassie.
"Yeah, but it could have been worse. You could have been after BooBee and Kevin," said Dim.
They all laughed.
A few days went by. Dim taped her scenes. And Dim wasn't all that bad.
Dim also made SOD's Coming and Going column. After a week went by Dim went to see Pam.
"Pam, I've been here a week, made out with Max, and met every Buchanan but Bo – Botrina's father. What gives?" asked Dim.
"Logistics," replied PL.
"Huh?" asked Dim.
"Right before we cast you, Jill gave Bob Woods a four week vacation," said Pam.
"You're kidding me," muttered Dim.
"So, you getting along with JdP? We got some initial email that indicates the fans are receptive to 'Botrina'," said Pam.
"People like Botrina?" muttered Dim.
'They think Botrina is fresh," replied PL.
"I'm in shock…" muttered Dim.
Dim walked into Dim's dressing room and threw the script down on the table.
Dim was disgusted. They had Botrina working for Granddaddy Asa's oil company as a high power executive and Max was using Botrina to scam millions from Asa. Dim had a scene with Joey in an attempt to get him to go to business school. And then Botrina and Nora had a catfight planned in which Botrina fell into the country club's pool. And she hadn't met Bob Woods yet.
Flo came in disgusted and threw her script on the table too.
"So, what's the scoop?" asked Dim.
Flo rolled her eyes, "JFP had this idea of having my niece, Roseanne come onto Todd and Todd kissing her thinking it was Téa while Todd is still in therapy!!"
"Ewewewewew…" muttered Dim, "What happened?"
"Well, Rog and I are having this… conversation… with JFP trying to talk her out of this crazy idea when Pam walks in…" started Flo.
"And?"
"It seems Erika's got it in her contract she only kisses guys between 17 and 25. Another crisis avoided."
"So, how's therapy going?" asked Dim
. "Got a year?" asked Flo.
